Corporate Clean Ups On Akerselva and Oslofjord

Fjord CleanUP can arrange corporate clean up events, with cleaning guides/instructors for your team, for up to 50 participants. We have several different ways we can clean up; by paddling, diving, and walking – or all 3 combined! The dirtiest areas in central Oslo are along the central Oslofjord waterfront (Bjørvika and Tjuvholmen) and down the Akerselva River starting from Vulkan / Nedre Foss Gård, and also on the surrounding beaches in Bygdøy, Høvedøya, and Sollerudstranda, where a lot of trash is dropped and swept onto after storms.

For this reason, we have developed clean ups suited for these locations, so that your team can contribute to effective cleaning in much needed areas, while at the same time having fun on and near the water.

Clean Up Options and Price Per Person:

• 2-hour Beach / On-land CleanUP (minimum 10 persons) – 495 NOK/person
• 2-hour Kayak / SUP CleanUP on Oslofjord (minimum 5 persons) – 995 NOK/person
• 1.5-hour Kayak / Packraft CleanUP on Akerselva (minimum 5 persons) – 995 NOK/person
• 3-hour Free-diving / Paddling / Land CleanUP (minimum 5 persons) – 1 495 NOK/person

* You can add more participants up to 50 persons per clean up, and you can add extra hours if you want a longer clean up event – we would generally advise no more than 3 hours, so as to keep engagement and spirits high so we can end on a positive note (it is surprising how much trash can be found in a short time in Oslo!).

Important info about our clean ups

• Fjord CleanUP is a non-profit voluntary environmental organisation that is known to run Oslo’s largest and most regular clean up initiative all year around. We clean the Oslo fjord and Oslos river every Sunday at 10 as part of our core service and mandate, together with our members who are all volunteers. You can also join us on Sunday but then you need to become a member of Fjord CleanUP here. You are welcome to sign up all your staff / colleagues – this can be a gift and an opportunity to show you care, to your team – a win-win!
• All clean ups are guided experiences. Depending on the group size you will have 1–3 cleaning guides who will instruct you, provide you with all required cleaning equipment, and take you to your cleaning location.
• You are welcome to document the event for your own uses, and share all content on your digital platforms. We chronicle all our clean ups and even have our own app where we register our findings – we will also do this for your clean up.
• No paddling or diving experience is required to join, but we do recommend that you have a moderate level of fitness and don’t mind getting your hands dirty.
